The Rotary Club of Salem Continues a Storied Tradition: Olde Salem Days
Welcome to Olde Salem Days.
On September 13th, 2014 Olde Salem Days will continue its grand tradition as the foremost Arts and Crafts events in the region. Every year, on the Second Saturday in September, the streets of downtown Salem, Virginia are transformed into a showplace for the regions most talented artisans and crafters. Tens of thousands of shoppers walk through the hundreds of tents to purchase one-of-a-kind treasures, to view and admire the talents of friends and neighbors, and simply to enjoy the community feel of downtown Salem. In addition to these opportunities, visitors can spend hours admiring the beautifully restored historic vehicles in the car show area, enjoy the many culinary delights in the food court, listen to live music from the Main Stage in the Farmers Market, or bring the young ones to the Kid Area in Library Square.
This website provides a great deal of information about the particulars of this year’s event. There are also applications if you would like to exhibit as a crafter, a food vendor, or as an event sponsor. Visitors are encouraged to utilize the free shuttle and remote parking at the Salem Civic Center. Feel free to contact us with any suggestions or questions at email@example.com or calling 540-772-8871.
Olde Salem Days is hosted by the City of Salem and the Rotary Club of Salem with the primary focus of showcasing the talents of our region’s residents and the warmth and beauty of our community. We do hope you will come join us on September 13th.
